For many households in the Great Lakes region, water is becoming less affordable.

When you look around the Great Lakes, it seems water is everywhere. But for many households in the region, water is getting more expensive and less affordable, and low-income households are getting hit the hardest. Brett Walton, a reporter for Circle of Blue, investigates the issue of rising water rates and speaks with officials in Wayne and Oakland counties.
