Arnold Postell is a senior biologist at the South Carolina Aquarium.
In Postell's words, sharks are “sensitive” when it comes to what they like to eat. And he would know. He feeds the sharks by lowering the flanked fish, using a pole to target directly into the sharks' mouths. To get the sharks' attention, they beat on the side of the tank, letting them know they are there with food. One of his jobs is taking care of the shark population on exhibit at the Aquarium.
