Illustrator Ment Nelson.
Ment Nelson is all about purpose. His first art collection features scenes of the rural Lowcountry. The illustrations are simple and as Charleston City Paper describes it, “with an unusual degree of warmth and familiarity.” His drawings are pen-and-ink line, which he then brings to life by digitizing and adding color. His hope is that the collection will stir up curiosity.
