Arbor de la Vida, or the Tree of Life, is being created by hundreds of San Antonio artists and storytellers and will serve as the new portal to the Mission San Francisco de la Espada. This 70-by-40-foot sculpture will have hundreds of branches filled with sculptures sharing the heritage of generations of South Texans. And, all in time to celebrate the 300th anniversary of San Antonio, in 2018.
