The technology needed to create conditions necessary to raise and breed endangered animals is critical, which is why Dr. Dante Fenolio and his team at the San Antonio Zoo are recycling old cargo shipping containers into labs and renovating an old warehouse freezer. They’re creating fail-proof climates for Japanese salamanders and other species.
