Dr. Ruth Berggren spent her childhood in Haiti and has been back many times to provide aid. She also ran the HIV ward at New Orleans' Charity Hospital when Katrina stranded tens of thousands. Dr. Tyler Curiel worked at the hospital right across the street in New Orleans, and in the weeks after the flood had to break back into his lab to save valuable cancer research. David Martin Davies hosts.
